Shipping & Delivery

Orders placed before 2.30pm (GMT) will be shipped on the same day (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Estimated delivery time for shipping services starts from the dispatch date and relates to working days i.e. Monday to Friday.
For example an order placed on a Friday for UK next working day delivery will be delivered on Monday. Royalmail and Couriers do not collect or deliver on Bank Holidays.

These provisions do not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods or your right to cancel orders under Consumer Protection (Distance Selling).

We are committed to keeping customer information confidential. We will only use the information that we collect lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

What information do we collect?

When you place an order we collect your name, e-mail address, delivery address, phone number and credit card information; your credit card details are not stored in any form of database at any time.

We monitor customer traffic patterns and site use which enables us to improve the service we provide.

Our Responsibilities

Security of Information.

Credit Card details are NOT stored on our server.

Access to customer records is not permitted to any third party, including, but not limited to, name, address, email address, phone number, contact details, vehicle type, and nature of purchase. These records are kept strictly confidential at all times.

worldcarparts.co.uk will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure. We will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.

Returns & Replacements

Items Damaged in Transit

If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 14  days of receipt of the goods. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, it's best to sign the carrier's delivery note accordingly. We will send you an e-mail with the instructions on the return procedure when you contact us as this may vary depending on the service used and individual cases. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method.

Items Faulty on Arrival

If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 14  days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs.  You will be responsible for the goods until they reach us.

If you return goods to us which are faulty or you have received by mistake or any other reason which is to be our fault, we will refund payments made by you including the original postage.

Refunds will be completed within reasonable period of time but no more than 30 days of us receiving the goods back in the condition in which they were originally supplied by us.

Wrongly Ordered Items or Change of Mind

You have 14 days to inform us that you are returning the item providing the part has not been fitted and is still in its original packaging. We will check the returned goods and make sure they are in resaleable brand new condition.  We will only refund original value of the goods less the postage for returned goods that are fully functional. If the packaging is damaged or parcel tape is used on the original box the part was in, we have the right to refuse the returned part.

We cannot be held responsible for returned items that do not contain sufficient documentation for identification.

Customers are responsible for making sure the part purchased is correct for their car. We always advise customers to contact us to check compatibility before purchasing if you are unsure.

Ordering

You can order items that on our website by either telephoning us or using our online facility. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once you successfully place an order but this does not mean that we will be able to fulfil your order (although 96% of orders are fulfilled successfully).

Order confirmation is normally sent after we have validated credit/debit card details and received authorisation from the card issuers. Usual cut-off time for last orders to be processed the same day is 2:30pm (GMT)

We are always happy to help with your order so please do not hesitate to contact us. Customers in UK and Europe can contact us with chasis(VIN) number of their car for better compatibility check for some makes such as Audi, BMW, Ford, Land Rover, Vauxhall / Opel, Seat, Skoda, VW and Toyota.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards.

You can also pay by using your own PayPal account if you prefer.

Alternatively you can pay by bank transfer. Please contact to obtain our bank details and an order referance number.

Viewing Orders

Customers who register before placing their orders will be able to find their orders in their order history once logged in.

Customers who use guest checkout facility will receive an order confirmation e-mail. Please provide a correct e-mail address to receive this information.

Warranty

The warranty period between the Buyer and the Seller is strictly 1 Year or 10,000 miles, whichever is sooner from the date of order dispatch, regardless of any warranty replacements. A replacement part does not extend the warranty period. We accept liability only for items which are proved faulty by reason of our negligence. Such liability is limited to the price paid for the item and does not include any consequential loss.
